An older leaf turning yellow is a different pattern from the whole plant changing colour quickly. Take a moment to look at the plant and its growing conditions before adding water, fertiliser or a treatment.<\/p>\n

Four things to look at<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Where did it start: on older leaves, on new ones or along one side?<\/li>\n
  2. How does the mix feel below the surface? Is there water in the saucer or outer pot?<\/li>\n
  3. Has the plant moved, or has the light, temperature or watering changed?<\/li>\n
  4. Can you see spots, webs or insects? Check underneath the leaves as well.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Try one change at a time<\/h2>\n

    Too much or too little water, light, cold, old leaves and pests can produce similar signs. A photo and a short note help you compare over time or show us what\u2019s happening. Check which plant you have and how it\u2019s growing before deciding what it needs.<\/p>\n
