Meet Statice
The stems carry small clusters. In some kinds of statice, the colourful cup around the flower stays visible after drying.
Make the most of your vase
Mix it with chrysanthemums or cockscomb to add fine detail around fuller heads. Ask us whether the current bunch suits drying.
When they arrive
Hang healthy stems upside down somewhere dry, fairly dark and airy. Take out any stems that show signs of mould.
Choose a vase
Put fresh stems in a clean vase with a medium opening. To dry them, take them out of water and make small bundles.
