Meet Chrysanthemums
Each chrysanthemum head is a cluster of tiny flowers. It might look like a tight pompom, an open daisy or a spray of several heads, depending on the variety.
Make the most of your vase
Use chrysanthemums to give the centre of a bouquet some fullness. Add the slim lines of veronica or a few long aspidistra leaves.
When they arrive
Remove leaves and side blooms that sit below the waterline. If one head fades, cut it off and keep the rest of the healthy stem.
Choose a vase
A medium opening suits branching stems. For a table where people will be talking, trim the stems to fit a low vase.
